Classes
Sue Graff
Saturday September 6 at 10:00am
Sue Graff is an Art educator in the Mosinee School District. She earned a bachelor’s degree from UW Madison and then her degree in education from UWSP. The years have deepened her appreciation for art and sharing the knowledge she has with students, but the greatest part is seeing the joy in their faces when they are proud of their creation. Sue is an avid knitter and loves to draw using pencil as her main medium.
Join Sue in creating a Non-Objective Repousse Relief Sculpture. This project begins with creating an embossed metal piece with designs that will be continued beyond the metal in chalk and oil pastels. Come and let your imagination and creativity play with shape and form.
Erin Kaczkowski
Saturday September 6 at 1:30pm
Erin Kaczkowski is an artist in Sheboygan, WI, who creates in a wide variety of art mediums, but specializes in Printmaking. Erin holds a degree in Photography from MCTC Minneapolis and a BFA in Printmaking from UW Milwaukee. Her ever evolving artistic voice celebrates the absurdity of life, reminding us to not take life too seriously.
Join Erin Kaczkowski of Bite Size Studio for hands-on learning of the process of Block Printing on Fabric. Students will be given a brief history of printmaking with a focus on relief prints, learn basic terminology, and the tips and tricks to creating a quality print. Attendees will put these new skills into practice by designing and carving their own block and will practice the techniques of printing their art on fabric. Students can bring in a fabric item to upcycle with their block print, or print on a provided tote bag.

Design and create a miniature hand-bound book that’s entirely your own. Whether you choose to fill the pages with collage, sketches, poetry, affirmations, or a mix of everything, there are no rules—just possibilities. This workshop emphasizes the joy of the creative process, personal expression, and learning a hands-on bookmaking technique that blends traditional craft with your unique creative voice.
Diane Shabino
Sunday September 7 at 1:30pm
National watercolor award winner Diane B Shabino has enjoyed playing with watercolor for over 50 years. She has her BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her objective as an artist is to create pleasing, well-rendered yet original artwork primarily in transparent watercolor technique. She depends on strong drawing skills and traditional art training. She also creates special effects and moods through manipulation of media and composition. Diane has signature status in five National watercolor societies, and has been juried into many national watercolor shows.
Join Diane Shabino in one of her very popular watercolor classes this year entitled Two Color Little Landscapes. You will create two small watercolors on archival paper suitable for framing using only two basic colors and using layering techniques.
