Wausau’s Festival of Arts has celebrated ART for over half a century! We hope you will join us for this celebration of exceptional artwork, free entertainment, and children’s activities.  Since its inception in 1965, this outdoor celebration of the arts has become an annual event in the heart of Wausau’s historic downtown and an integral part of Wausau’s Artrageous Weekend.  Patrons can enjoy and purchase artwork in a variety of styles and price ranges from over 120 juried, professional artists from all over the United States.

Enjoy the variety of food selections offered at our two food courts, and then sit back and enjoy musical entertainment at our stages provided by local favorites and nationally known performers.  Families will enjoy entertainment geared for our younger patrons at the Family Stage and a variety of hands-on art activities in the Family Art area.  Adults can try their hands at art too, with our Still Young @ Art classes in the CVA classroom.Voted American Style Magazine’s #1 art festival of the year in 2009, Artrageous weekend, including Wausau’s Festival of Arts, is still going strong!
